Mozilla PopcornMaker is a free website where students can edit and remix videos. For upper elementary through high school and even in higher ed, students can pull in audio or video “base” layers of media from sites like SoundCloud, Vimeo, or YouTube, and edit in text, images, and other multimedia components. Students can also publish their videos and make them available for others to remix. In this webinar, known as Appy Hour, two innovative educators provide a tour of PopcornMaker and explain how and why they’re using it with students. Hosted in partnership with Educator Innovator, you can also follow the ongoing conversation on Twitter using the hashtag #AppyHour.
