Open Portfolio Project (Part 1): Learning From Maker Portfolios

February 25, 2015
1:00 pm - 2:00 pm PST
By Educator Innovator

In this webinar, we talk about the increasing value of portfolios for today’s youth with members of the Maker Education Initiative’s Open Portfolio Project. Open portfolios strive to be part of an openly networked, decentralized and distributed system in which makers maintain control of the content and curation process. With this vision of open portfolios for makers, this webinar gives insights on what we can learn from portfolio practices at youth-serving makerspaces and organizations about the enduring value of portfolios in the learning process.

NOTE: Part 2, Documentation and Making, will air March 4, 2015, 1:00 p.m. PST/4:00 p.m. EST.
