LRNG Innovators

What if learning went beyond bells and walls?

That’s the question LRNG Innovators asks educators to answer every year by re-imagining what traditional learning looks like. LRNG is a movement that aims to inspire innovation in education—to become an experience that better reflects the world we live in today. It is re-thinking and re-shaping the learning process into one that’s more relevant to youth today, and better prepares them for the world of tomorrow. Each year, LRNG Innovators awards grants to innovative teacher teams across the country who can see beyond the classroom walls, expanding the possibilities where learning knows no bounds or borders.

LRNG Innovators Challenges support teams of educators in designing, testing, and sharing solutions that build the future of creative and connected learning. LRNG was originally founded in 2014 by John Legend’s Show Me Campaign with support from the National Writing Project, the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation, and Collective Shift.
