A professional development program emphasizing process, challenge-based learning, collaboration, and reflection is being held throughout the summer of 2016 by our partner Jacob Burns Film Center to prepare educators to integrate viewing and creating media into their literacy instruction.

The Image, Sound, and Story curriculum has brought depth and texture to my classes, giving students a more refined lens through which to experience all types of visual media, and giving them more techniques for their own storytelling.
